Anna Bryson - Candidate CUSD 4th District

“I oppose the reckless spending of $52,000,000 for a luxurious new administration building -- while schools are in dire need of repair and students are crammed into substandard portable classrooms.  As a mother, I care deeply about children.  I will ensure every child receives an excellent education in a safe, sanitary school.” Anna Bryson, Candidate CUSD 4th District.

Anna has lived in Southern California within the Capistrano Unified School District for more than fifteen years.

In recognition of her steadfast commitment to improving the quality of life in our region, Anna was awarded the prestigious California State Assembly 73rd District “Woman of the Year Award” and has been publicly recognized for her community leadership by numerous elected officials and charitable organizations.

Anna Bryson is a standout in a field where few women executives are at the helm -- the software technology industry.   Anna has been President and Chief Executive Officer of an Orange County software technology firm.  She has extensive knowledge and special expertise in organizational leadership, and has substantial managerial, public relations and advertising experience.

In addition to her professional accomplishments, Anna is dedicated to making her community a better place.  Anna is well known for her outstanding volunteerism and work with Beta Foster Care, House Ear Institute, Assistance League, Disabled Veterans of Orange County, the American Heart Association and the American Cancer Society.

Anna has traveled the world and speaks four languages – she thrives on helping others and has tremendous respect for all people and cultures.

“Our teachers in CUSD are terrific.   By working closely with so many parents who care deeply about education, they have provided our children a very good education – but we can help them do so much better.  Teachers should not have to buy their own classroom supplies or act as the school custodian.  I will provide our teachers the respect they deserve, adequate classroom supplies and the tools they need to be their very best.  By focusing our efforts in the classroom -- as opposed to a multi-million dollar office building for the administrators – we will take academic achievement in CUSD to new heights.”
